The critique follows Evangelina's refusal to stay inside
Sophie Turner has urged her followers to stay inside in a social media post that seemed to criticise fellow actress Evangeline Lilly. Evangeline, best known for starring in Lost and the Ant-Man superhero films, caused controversy earlier this week by saying that she - and her children - would go about her business during the coronavirus pandemic, as she favours her freedom above all else.
Appearing on Instagram Live alongside her husband, Joe Jonas, she delivered the damning critique. 'Here's the tea,' she said - she was, naturally, holding a cup of tea at the time - 'Stay inside. Don't be f***ing stupid, even if you count your freedom over... your health.' Sophie did not specifically call out Evangeline, but her recent comments focused on liberty and the right to go where you please.
Among the posts, Evangeline stated that she had 'just dropped my kids off at gymnastics camp. They all washed their hands before going in. They are playing and laughing. #businessasusual' 'I don't give a fffffff about your freedom', Sophie continued. 'You could be infecting other people, other vulnerable people around you by doing this. So stay inside guys. It's not cool and it's not big and it's not clever. And that's the tea.'
Sophie and Joe, who married last year at a chapel in Las Vegas, before a larger ceremony in France, may have a new, extra reason to look after their health: reports state that the actress may be expecting a baby. As yet, however, they have not confirmed the news.
