Filipino-Chinese actress Sophie Ng recently revealed how some people tell her she looks a lot like Kylie Padilla.
She shared during the grand press conference of the film"Her Locket" held at the Oriental Place in Quezon City on Aug. 27,"Actually, many people tell me that I look like her, but the funny thing is that Kylie Padilla is always on my radar, but I don't see her personally.""Kylie Padilla was also there, I was not aware. That's when my friends said that the face was very familiar, so it's a shame we didn't meet because I really wanted to meet her.
"Honestly speaking, young Jewel and I are very similar, we both go through the same thing when it comes to being a hard-headed kid because honestly speaking I don't follow the traditions given to a fil-chi family," Sophie shared. A Rebecca Chuaunsu Film Production offering,"Her Locket" is part of this year's Sinag Maynila Independent Film Festival. The film follows the story of Jewel Ouyang, the daughter of a wealthy Chinese businessman who suffers from dementia. Directed and written by J.E Tiglao and Maze Miranda,"Her Locket" also stars Boo Gabunda, Elora Espano, Benedict Cua, Francis Mata, Tommy Alenjandrino and more.
