Will the headphones make their way to 🇲🇾? 🤔 SonyWHCH720N SonyWHCH520 TechNave
First up, the WH-CH720N has the same V1 chip found on the WH-1000XM5 which produces high-quality sound and active noise cancellation . Accordingly, the headphone does support ANC and Digital Sound Enhancement Engine , Sony’s audio upscaling technology.
Furthermore, Sony claimed that the WH-CH720N’s battery can last up to 35 hours with ANC enabled. Other notable specs include multipoint connectivity, two microphones in each ear cup for the 20 levels of ANC/ambient sound that the headphones are capable of producing. Next up, the WH-CH520 is the Japanese company’s new entry-level on-ear headphones. Unlike the WH-CH720N, it doesn’t offer ANC but still supports DSEE and multipoint connectivity. It has better battery life too, with Sony claiming that the WH-CH520 can last for 50 hours on a single charge.
Both headphones are offered in black, blue and white colour options and are set for release this Spring in the United States. The WH-CH720N is priced at USD150 or ~RM665 while the WH-CH520 is USD60 or ~RM266. As of the time of writing, Sony has yet to reveal whether the headphones will be available in Malaysia.
