Sons of Anarchy Tig Jax Gemma

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Sons of Anarchy had some interesting guest stars throughout its seven seasons, and two of them were the result of a broken promise from the show’s creator, but they improved the series. Back in 2008, Sons of Anarchy arrived to take viewers into the complex and intense world of motorcycle clubs.

Sons of Anarchy’s Creator Didn’t Want Michael Chiklis & Walton Goggins On The Show Kurt Sutter Had Understandable Reasons For Not Wanting Them On The Show Both Chiklis and Goggins starred in the crime TV series The Shield , where Sutter served as executive producer. Both Chiklis and Goggins starred in the crime TV series The Shield, where Sutter served as executive producer. Sutter didn’t want them in Sons of Anarchy because they were too recognizable thanks to their roles in The Shield and it would have been hard for the audience to see them as other characters. Goggins talked to Sutter about it and told him he would only do the show if he played a transgender character.

Walton Goggins joined Sons of Anarchy season 5 as Venus Van Dam, a transgender sex worker who SAMCRO went to when they needed to blackmail a local businessman. Venus returned as a recurring character in seasons 6 and 7, becoming an ally of SAMCRO and developing a romantic relationship with Tig Trager . Venus was last seen in Sons of Anarchy’s final episode, where she comforted Tig after voting for a mayhem vote on Jax, meaning Jax had to die.

Sutter not only ended up bringing Walton Goggins into Sons of Anarchy, but also Michael Chiklis. Chiklis played Milo in the last two episodes of Sons of Anarchy, but even though his time in the series was brief, he was involved – directly and indirectly – in the two biggest deaths of the show: Gemma’s and Jax’s. Milo was a truck driver who met Gemma when she was on her way to her father’s nursing home, and after a brief conversation, he gave her a ride.
