A brand new Sonic the Hedgehog 3 clip has dropped, featuring Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails as they compete with each other in a race.

“Sonic the Hedgehog returns to the big screen this holiday season in his most thrilling adventure yet. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before,” reads the official synopsis. “With their abilities outmatched in every way, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance in hopes of stopping Shadow and protecting the planet.
The third installment is directed by Jeff Fowler from a screenplay written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. The ensemble cast will also feature Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Tails, Elba as Knuckles, James Marsden as Tom, Tika Sumpter as Maddie, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, Alyla Brown as Maria, Krysten Ritter, Sofia Pernas, Cristo Fernández, James Wolk, and more. The film is produced by Neal H. Moritz, Hajime Satomi, Toby Ascher, Tim Miller, Nan Morales, and Toru Nakahara.
