David Fifita ’s switch to the Roosters leaves them with more questions with answers amid a back row logjam at the club that still has some glaring holes in their roster.
Angus Crichton is off-contract at the end of the 2024 season and his future at the club is uncertain at best amid Fifita’s arrival, considering the other back-rowers the Tri-colours have on their books. “The Roosters have got Sitili Tupouniua, Nat Butcher and Egan Butcher and Siua Wong,” Fletcher said on The Late Show with Matty Johns.“The mail was Crichton was going to rugby union, but the way he has played the last six weeks, I wouldn’t let him go.The Roosters have some huge voids to fill in their backline most notably at five-eighth, given Keary has called time on his career at the end of 2024.
