Someone stuffed a supercharged AMG V-8 into a BMW Z3.
MGarage Motorsport published a couple of photos showcasing its latest build, a BMW Z3 drift car for a client that's just had a lot of work done. In place of the original engine sits a comparatively gigantic 5.5-liter supercharged V-8 from Mercedes-Benz., the V-8 runs on an Emu Black ECU, and sends power to the wheels via a ZF eight-speed transmission thanks to an aftermarket adapter and a standalone transmission controller.

Those cars have a lot more room in their engine bays, whereas the V-8 looks to have taken up all available space under the hood of this Z3.
