Be careful and read directions of all medicines.
I’d like to emphasize to Penn live readers the dangers of over-the counter medications like acetaminophen, NSAIDs, tussin, and phenol throat sprays, among others.
I probably damaged my own health with them before investigating and discovering how dangerous they were. The phenol sprays like Chloraseptic, in particular, seem much too toxic for any benefits they might confer. Stick strictly to the dosing recommendation, if you can’t avoid them entirely, and be extremely careful about these supposedly innocuous products -- they’re deadlier than you think. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
