The eThekwini Metro police in Kwazulu-Natal have warned motorists of major road closures for the Durban Ultra Triathlon on Sunday.
Metro police spokesperson Parboo Sewpersad has urged motorists to use alternative routes.
“The South bound carriage way incoming into Durban will be open however, motorists are urged to comply with all police officers instructions. There will also be around the Moses Mabhida, Kings Park Rugby stadium prescient, there will be lots of road closure and lane closures in that vicinity. Motorists are urged to stay away from the Prescient on Masabalal Yengwa Avenue, between Mnr Avenue and Goble road.
