Watt summed it up succinctly: “We’re not competitive.”After two such seasons, it is time for the Texans to go from messy to mediocre. He is in just his second year and still fighting to build something with the Bill O’Brien-Jack Easterby albatross around his neck.
Davis Mills doesn’t have to be a franchise quarterback for the Texans to win games. The Lovie Smith plan is to establish the run, protect the football, and play good defense.Caserio says most games come down to eight to 10 plays. The team that wins those plays wins the game.
