'If, as a country, we feel compelled to celebrate people's sexual preferences, a topic that really should be discussed in private, why should it get one month while the people who gave their lives defending this country only get one day?' -CWTremo
Our country's core values are slowly being replaced by the latest radical left-wing social justice causes. Every day, our country seems to be on the brink of cultural destruction, facilitated by an erosion of common sense. Consider the recent Memorial Day holiday that just passed and how, as a country, we take for granted and do not truly appreciate those who died so that we may live.
If, as a country, we feel compelled to celebrate people's sexual preferences, a topic that really should be discussed in private, why should it get one month while the people who gave their lives defending this country only get one day? There's a gross societal imbalance of appreciation here. Quite frankly, the time frame set aside for each should be reversed.
Consider the facts. If not for the heroes who died defending our country and preserving our republic, rights, and liberties, there's a good chance the so-called"Pride" month wouldn't even exist. We should have a longer annual celebration for their sacrifices rather than a monthlong celebration predicated on what some people want to do in the bedroom.
These are realities that many LGBT supporters and others on the Left will likely ignore and dismiss. And proponents of the so-called"Pride" month will try to justify it as a cultural necessity to promote tolerance and acceptance and compensate for previous years of marginalization and discrimination. However, as difficult as being marginalized and discriminated against might be, it's not worse than losing one's life in battle.
Without question, being killed in battle while voluntarily defending the country is more worthy of a monthlong celebration than those who merely want to celebrate their sexual identities. It's purely illogical to think otherwise.

Tennessee Law Sows Fear Among Drag Performers Before Pride MonthCLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Renae Green-Bean had started taking precautions in public even before the Tennessee legislature approved a law in March limiting where “adult cabaret” can be performed. Green-Bean had watched the uptick in legislation restricting LGBTQ rights and worried that restaurant nights with her wife, children or grandchildren, or her preference for masculine attire and closely cropped hair, would invite harassment. So she could not help but worry that the new law would make her feel
