TheBoys season 3 star Jensen Ackles shares a throwback photo of his transformation into Soldier Boy for TheBoys season 3.
Jensen Ackles is offering fans of The Boys a new look at his bearded appearance as Soldier Boy in the show's upcoming third season. Amazon Prime's superhero/dark comedy series, developed by Eric Kripke and based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson's comic book of the same name, has quickly become one of the streaming platform's most successful original programs following its premiere back in 2019.
Ackles joins returning cast members Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, and Claudia Doumit in The Boys season 3, set to return on June 3, 2022. While details surrounding the new episodes remain under wraps, fans can expect to see Victoria Neuman's storyline play an important role as her secret motives begin to influence the actions of The Boys.
With only a handful of months left until The Boys season 3 premieres, it will be interesting to see how much more of Jensen Ackles' Soldier Boy will be revealed and what his role becomes as the series progresses. Considering that other behind-the-scenes photos of Soldier Boy reveal a more clean-cut version compared to that of the actor's recent post, it is likely that the character goes through quite the development.
