Man United could be about to see the best of Mason Mount when they take on Crystal Palace.
Mason Mount is capable of great things at Manchester United but obviously at this early stage in his career at the club he hasn't achieved them yet.
The four defeats so far have seen United revert to the frail and listless nature Ten Hag looked to have eradicated during his first year, with chaos off the field seeping into the disorganised performances. The wins haven't been much better with United only managing to scrape by relegation candidates Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Burnley by one goal.
However, in pushing up the pitch Casemiro has repeatedly been left completely exposed. Both Wolves and Tottenham cut through United's midfield like a knife through an avocado with the Brazilian left powerless to do anything about it. It wasn't surprising United weren't quite as open, despite still conceding, when Mount was ruled out with injury.
