Social development dept defends its DSDTV platform, with 200 viewers a day
The Department of Social Development has defended it's DSDTV streaming platform, arguing that it is saving the department money by cutting out third-party communication fees. .
Amid a proliferation of government communication channels, the Department of Social Development has defended its decision to launch and maintain DSDTV, its internet streaming platform. DSDTV, which has no affiliation with the MultiChoice-owned DStv, was launched a year ago by the Department of Social Development as a channel to share content about the activities of the department.
