Soccer Mommy, aka Sophia Allison, has released a glimmering cover of country singer Sheryl Crow’s iconic “Soak Up the Sun.” Allison’s cover puts a shoegaze-y spin on the classic tune, coating it in dreamily distorted guitars and white-noise synths alongside Allison’s saccharine soprano. Soccer Mommy’s North American tour, in support of Maggie Rogers, kicks off tonight. Check out its dates and her cover of “Soak Up the Sun” song below.
