The Rose Bowl, SoFi Stadium and Dignity Health Sports Park will host games in this summer’s Soccer Champions Tour
As the European soccer leagues start to wind down their current seasons, the clubs are making plans for the annual trek to the United States for preseason camp and games.
This summer, Southern California soccer fans will get at least three chances to watch their favorite clubs from Europe as the Soccer Champions Tour schedule was released Friday. The tour consists of eight games from July 22-Aug. 2, with stops in Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando and San Francisco.Three days later, SoFi Stadium is the location as Arsenal faces Barcelona, and one day later, on July 27, AC Milan and Juventus will meet at Dignity Health Sports Park.
The schedule also includes an El Clasico between rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid, set for AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.“AEG is excited about the partnership with Soccer Champions Tour and Legends to bring the most successful soccer clubs in the world to fans across the U.S.,” AEG’s Senior Vice President, Soccer & Business Operations and Business Development Tom Braun said in a statement.
