Some light rain is expected in Southern California Tuesday night into Wednesday morning but a new warming trend is around the corner.
Los Angeles and Orange counties will see a high of 66 degrees on Tuesday with some drizzle starting at night and continuing through the morning. Temperatures will warm up to the 70s later in the week, hitting the low 80s by the weekend.Beaches will be cloudy Tuesday with a high of 62 and 2-3 foot surf.
Mountain communities will see some light rain on coastal slopes with a high of 58, dropping to 31 overnight. Mountain communities will warm up to the 70s later in the week. Desert communities will be warm, sunny and breezy with a high of 70, dropping to 47 at night. By the weekend, Palm Springs could top 100.
