Southern California on Friday will stay on the cool side, with morning clouds on tap and most parts in the 60s and 70s.
Los Angeles and Orange counties Friday will reach 70 degrees as cloudy skies in the morning give way to afternoon sun. Similar weather is expected over the weekend.
Valleys and Inland Empire on Friday will drop to the low 70s and there could even be some patchy drizzle in the morning. Morning clouds and afternoon sunshine will be on tap through the weekend. Beaches will stay cool as temperatures will reach a high of 65 Friday. Temperatures will be in the 60s for the next few days.
Mountain communities on Friday will be mostly pleasant -- a high of 74 is on tap amid breezy and sunny conditions. A drop in temperatures will arrive Saturday when a high of 67 is on tap.
