An EF1 tornado touched down in Kent County, Delaware, on Monday night during the intense storms that left extensive damage throughout the Philadelphia region, Officials said that the tornado reached maximum wind speed of up to 100 miles per hour in Frederica on March 16.Survey team confirmed an EF1 tornado near Frederica, DE with max winds to 100 mph. Additional extensive wind damage near Camden, DE remains under review. Full details are expected to be released on Wednesday.There is still a lot of clean up underway two days after the tornado brought destruction with it. Not only was it scary for resident Benjamin Stafford, but his deck took a beating, the siding on his house was shredded and limbs from trees pierced into his home while his barn was completely destroyed."When I woke up, I looked out the window and seen half of this shed out in the front," Stafford explained."I had tractors trucks pickups everything in there." For the neighbors who live nearby and didn't have any damage from the tornado, they said they couldn't escape the fear. "That was insane. My kids got so afraid when we heard everything. The wind was so strong. It was so so so scary," neighbor Levy Rios said.
