SAN ANTONIO — OK, so maybe all the fears and angst couldn’t be alleviated by the Knicks’ short workout Tuesday on the Spurs’ court. , the Knicks center handled the ball comfortably and hoisted jump shots without any obvious hiccups or hindrance during practice warmups Tuesday.
He also didn’t touch the rims on his weave-drill dunks — which certainly leaves concerns Robinson can’t absorb hard contact — but, again, this is better than some of the alternatives we envisioned like an utterly incapacitated right hand or Captain Hook in uniform.
