Always wanted to go careening through a football goal post? You’ll get your chance next month in Canton, host of the inaugural Winter Blitz event, which includes snow tubing through the goal post at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.

Other activities at the Hall of Fame Village event include a 5K run, visits with Santa, a fireworks show and crafts village. But the centerpiece attraction is sure to be “Touchdown Tube Hill,” which begins 35 feet above the field “and gives guests a unique thrill as they swoosh down through the goal post and across the endzone to the 20-yard line,” according to press material.Rates are $10-$14 for a 90-minute session if purchased in advance or $17 at the event. Spectator tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the event.Winter Blitz kicks off at noon on Saturday, Dec. 10, with the Spirit of the Season 5K Run/Walk.
