Nate Bargatze as George Washington during the Washington's Dream 2 sketch on SNL
Saturday Night Live has released a sequel to last year's George Washington sketch, and fans are now taking to social media to demand that it become a new tradition. SNL returned for season 50 at the end of September, with the most recent episode from October 5 featuring comedian Nate Bargatze as host and Coldplay as the musical guest.
One user calls the two sketches the"funniest sketches they've done in years," while others praise the writing and Bargatze's deadpan Washington impression. Stefon was a regular character on SNL from 2008 to 2013, with his last appearance coming in 2018. Target Lady appeared 11 times from 2005 to 2015.
