Crown Block opens for dinner on April 17, 2023, replacing Wolfgang Puck’s Five Sixty in the circular restaurant atop Reunion Tower downtown.
Of course, Reunion Tower has become a visual symbol of Dallas. It was featured on theTV show, though only the four legs of the structure were featured in the original intro of the show because the top wasn’t finished yet.
There’s an adventuresome aspect to walking the room, like you’re on a cruise ship for the first time. Head left, past Crown Block’s bar and the navy-and-gold art deco wallpaper, and the windows boast another vantage point of Dallas. This room has another dozen curved tables and chairs. Keep circling, and oh! You’re back where you started.Canteenwalla and Blau have created restaurants at the Bellagio, Wynn and Encore, some of Las Vegas’ toniest hotels.
Crown Block’s menu is glitzy, with pricey cuts of steak and seafood, though Canteenwalla and his team added a few down-home items to lend some soul.
