Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher called Nick Saban a “narcissist” Thursday, May 19, 2022. after the Alabama coach made “despicable” comments about the Aggies using name, image and likeness deals to land their top-ranked recruiting classes. Saban called out Texas A&M on Wednesday night for “buying” players.Jimbo Fisher is paid more than $9 million a year to coach football at a university that is located somewhat in the middle of nowhere.
In a better world, Fisher and Saban would have yelled at each other about graduation rates or job prospects within a national economy that is balancing inflation with the threat of recession. Fisher and Saban would also spend the entire boxing match pausing every five seconds, breathing really hard and begging for more water.
