PETALING JAYA: Star Media Group is collaborating with South-East Asia’s leading e-commerce aggregator, iPrice Group, to offer Malaysians convenient access to the best online deals from over 100 merchants.
Both Star Media Group and iPrice hope to not only widen the range of online offerings to Malaysians but also meet the growing need for cost-conscious purchases amidst uncertain global economic times.
“At the same time, as online consumers become more prudent with their spending as a direct result of this Covid-19 pandemic, being able to offer the best deals and ‘bang for your buck’ becomes even more valuable. This is where we see synergy with iPrice Group as a leader in this category,” said Star Media Group senior general manager of analytics Freddy Loo.The trend in online shopping and e-commerce is seen in Malaysia as well.
Leveraging on this trend, Star Media Group and iPrice Group will continuously develop a roadmap to provide more exclusive offers from more than 100 e-commerce merchants in the country.“Most of these existing readers access The Star’s news portal for its high-quality journalism and content,” said iPrice Group CTO and co-founder Heinrich Wendel.
