Eight or nine suspects stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from an Eastridge Center jewelry store, police said.
SAN JOSE — Police on Monday were investigating a smash-and-grab robbery at an East San Jose jewelry store.
The robbery was reported at 11:50 a.m. at the Eastridge Mall. Eight or nine people used hammers and other tools to smash display cases and robbed the store of several thousand dollars worth of merchandise, said San Jose police Sgt.
