The Gale family was enjoying a nice, quiet lunch in Lion’s Park in Richfield on Friday when we asked them about the event. Kristin Gale said she is pumped for the eclipse. Even though people in the town are excited, Richfield Police Chief Trent Lloyd said the influx of visitors is going to cause issues. For instance, that many people could jam up their communication services.

“We’ve got Wayne County and Paiute County that call on us, a lot to help, and we help when we can,” Lloyd said.
