The pilot of a small plane made an emergency landing in an open field on a Douglas County golf course, South Metro Fire Rescue said, pilot and passenger were uninjured.
The pilot of a small plane made and emergency landing on an open field in Douglas County Saturday morning, the plane flipped after touching down.
The pilot, of a Cessna 172S, and a passenger escaped injury, South Metro Fire Rescue said on X at 6:47 a.m. The hard landing happened south of Lincoln Avenue and east of Oswego Street on the Meridian Golf Course. No fire or fuel spill occurred.
