A Learjet 55 crashed in a residential area of Northeast Philadelphia shortly after takeoff, causing a fire that engulfed multiple homes and injuring several people on the ground. The plane, en route from Philadelphia to Springfield, Missouri, went down near Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue. Two individuals were aboard the aircraft, and their status remains unknown.
