Slipknot responds to former drummer's lawsuit

Back in March, former Slipknot drummer Chris Fehn filed a lawsuit against his bandmates over a pay dispute. Now, Corey Taylor and Shawn Crahan are demanding that the lawsuit is thrown out of court., the duo claim Fehn’s lawsuit was filed in the wrong court, adding that they have no ties to New York, where the case was filed. According to the docs, Taylor and Crahan claim none of their albums were recorded there, and neither were any of their contracts executed in New York.
In the suit, Fehn accused the duo of telling him money from merchandise and touring is funneled through one sole company that splits profits and pays the band. He claims he later found out that Taylor and Crahan set up Slipknot-affiliated entities that were collecting money from the band.
