One of the biggest rodeos in Alabama returns to the Capital City on Friday.
“The excitement is definitely building around here. You can hear it in the bucket shoots clanging shut, you hear it in the cowboys chattering in the hallways, but also in the kids that get to come out and watch them.
We already have kids here checking out the crowd and the excitement and you know that are going to be your future rodeo stars,” said Josie Jones, Director of Strategic Partnerships for SLE Rodeo. “So, the excitement is very tangible and very much felt through the walls of the coliseum.” Jones says that on top of barrel racing and bull riding, the weekend is meant to be a family experience. The annual SLE Rodeo kicks off Friday, March 20, and runs through March 22 at the Garrett Coliseum.
