Prosecutors say the suspect killed a man in Oakland before driving to Stockton to try to shoot a woman that same night.
, prosecutors in San Joaquin County announced Tuesday, and the timeline they've laid out is astonishing.
In October, investigators announced they had linked Brownlee, 43, to the unsolved killing of Juan Alexander Vasquez in Oakland. That killing occurred in a dark residential area on the 5700 block of Harmon Avenue on April 10, 2021.
Remarkably, LaTour was found by the occupants of a passing vehicle, who called 911 and got her to safety. According to San Joaquin County District Attorney Tori Verber Salazar, Brownlee has eight known victims.
