Sky warns customers of shock charge that could cost you HUNDREDS – and it’s totally avoidable

Sky warns that you'll be charged for every piece of equipment you don't return - so if you have more than one of the above, you could end up paying quite a bit.

"If you don’t return this equipment within the time frame given, you’ll have to pay a Non-Return charge," the firm says. "We’ll send you texts, emails or letters to remind you to return your equipment, if we haven’t got it back. "And then, if we still don’t get the equipment back in the time frame given, you’ll get a letter or email confirming what you’ll be charged."Sky adds: "Paying a Non-return charge doesn’t buy the equipment, it’s just a cost for not returning.Generally, you'll have 60 days to send your kit back.The easiest way to return stuff is via a Sky engineer if one is visiting to install new equipment.
