Fifty-six places in Skokie, Niles, Morton Grove, Glenview, Des Plaines and other suburbs, received bomb threats between August and October, per police reports obtained by FOIA.

Fifty-six places, including public libraries, schools, businesses, government buildings and other locations in Skokie, Niles, Morton Grove, Glenview, Des Plaines and other suburbs, received bomb threats between August and October, according to Skokie Police Department reports obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request. Jacob N. Spiro, 23, of the 4600 block of Davis Street, Skokie, was arrested on Oct.

Police departments in Des Plaines, Morton Grove, Glenview, Niles and Evanston also began reporting similar 911 calls, which usually involved a bomb threat and sometimes occurred several times a day. The investigation led police to revisit a similar incident from March 23, in which Glenview police responded to a bomb threat at a Goodwill Store and Donation Center, 2740 Old Willow Rd.
