The 2026 first-round pick involved in the trade is the least favorable of the Clippers', Thunder's, and Rockets'.
Butler, at 23 years old, is a decade younger than Jackson, the 34-year-old who saw action in 31 games for the Sixers this season, averaging 4.4 points and 1.5 assists. Jackson is currently on a two-way contract and recently played for the Capital City Go-Go, the Wizards' G League affiliate, on Tuesday. This means the Sixers will need to make some roster adjustments to accommodate Butler. Jeff Dowtin Jr., Pete Nance, and Justin Edwards are currently filling the team's two-way spots.
