Sixers sign Tyrese Maxey to max contract in effort to 'deliver an NBA championship to the City of Philadelphia'

Through 266 NBA games over four seasons, Maxey is averaging 18.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.1 assists. He, along with Andrew Toney, and Hall of Famer Allen Iverson are the only 76ers to total at least 4,500 points and 1,000 assists within their first 266 career NBA appearances. The Garland, Texas native has helped lead Philadelphia to playoff berths in each of his four seasons, as the team has compiled a .632 winning percentage, the fifth-highest in the NBA since 2020.
