BANGKOK (The Nation/ANN): Six Vietnamese fishing boats have been have seized and 36 crew members detained on Wednesday (March 4) for alleged being in Thai waters, Army, marine police and Pattani officials said at a press conference.
This is the sixth time this year that Vietnamese boats have been seized, Lt-General Sophon Ratchapirak, Chief of Naval Staff Region 2, said.
Pattani public health officers took care to ensure that none of the 36 crew members had symptoms of Covid-19 or a history of travel to high-risk areas, the officials informed. - The Nation/Asia News Network
