SEGAMAT: It will take about six months to repair the flood damage to affected health facilities in Johor, says Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa.
She said six facilities in the state suffered severe damage – one health clinic and five village clinics.
"The damage includes furniture and equipment, as well as medical records," she told reporters after visiting one of the affected village clinics in Kampung Tengah here on Sunday ."The Chaah health clinic, which is the worst-hit facility, is currently operating out of the Pekan Chaah Multipurpose Hall which is about 500m from its own premises," she added."We have assessed the losses suffered by the health facilities and estimate the figure at RM1.8mil.
