One of the sites in the trail is Innerleithen Drive in Coltness.
“Site edges adjacent to households and businesses and path edges within areas being trialled as no mow will continue be maintained. A statement on North Lanarkshire Council’s website reads: “The sites will be surveyed over the early summer period to examine the plants and invertebrate diversity to determine the success of not cutting the grass.
