OAKLAND -- The Ghost Ship warehouse that burned in 2016, killing 36 people has been acquired by a nonprofit community development organization for possible development into badly needed low-income housing.
"We just want to be really, really thoughtful in this process and just understand what a tragic event this was to them," he said.
