Now, the Vatican is examining her life as it considers whether to advance her cause along on the path to sainthood.The Blandina room at the Sisters of Charity motherhouse in Delhi is now filled with historical artifacts commemorating her life of service, sacrifice and at times adventure."My grandma, she loved Blandina.""I used to have to go with my dad when he picked up the nuns and take them to church.
This Cincinnati sister is revered in New Mexico and parts of Colorado where she spent her early years doing heroic work."Blandina is very active. As I said, she's busy and she's working," says Sister Kathryn Ann Connelly. "She's working here in Cincinnati and in a lot of places so, I think faith has come alive."Her grave in Delhi has become a place of pilgrimage for some.
