The music legend, 76, was taken to hospital on Sunday night and treated at the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco.
Elton John was rushed to hospital over the weekend after suffering injuries following a fall in his French villa.
"We can confirm that following a slip yesterday at his home in the south of France," they told The Mirror. "Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure."
