The talented singer-songwriter Chris James will be coming to Malaysia this August for his 2024 Asia tour, 'Dopamine Overload Asia Tour'. The tour will kick off in Hong Kong and continues through several cities Asia, including Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Taipei, Seoul and Tokyo.
Chris James' upbeat instrumentation, relatable lyrics, and overall warmth have captivated fans and industry alike. As a completely self contained artist empowered by his own creative vision, he has independently released 25 singles, 1 EP, and 4 albums - all in just the last 3 years. With his music, he has amassed an audience of over 12 million unique listeners and over 100 million plays on Spotify alone.
Chris first gained traction in Asia in 2020 with his breakout hit “Not Angry”, which currently has over 5 billion uses on Douyin. In August 2023, Chris had the opportunity to meet thousands of his fans in person with his headline tour through China. In that same year, he also received an award from KKBox, recognizing him as one of the Top 100 Western Artists.
In addition to his career as an artist, Chris is a prolific songwriter. He broke records when he co-wrote the longest-running #1 in German history, “Komet” by Apache 207 and Udo Lindenberg. He also worked on several globally successful K-Pop hits, including “Life Goes On” by BTS, “Like Crazy” by Jimin, and 'Devil By The Window' by TomorrowXTogether.
