SINGAPORE will discuss with Malaysia the movement of workers to the city state following a ban on travel for Malaysians to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Singaporean businesses that employ Malaysian workers have been urged to activate their “business continuity plans” following the Malaysian government’s announcement, said Singaporean Trade Minister Chan Chun Sing.About 100,000 Malaysians commute daily from Johor to work in Singapore and are affected by the movement control orderEffective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription.
