SINGAPORE’s air force scrambled two F-16 fighter jets yesterday afternoon after a Malaysia-registered helicopter flew over the Strait east of Changi Airport,The city-state’s Defence Ministry and civil aviation authority issued a joint statement that the warplanes were mobilised at 12.40pm.
