JUST IN: Singapore confirms 17th COVID19 death, a 76-year-old Singaporean man; five new clusters identified

new COVID-19 cases as of noon on Saturday , bringing the national tally to 17,548.

In its daily update, MOH added that five new clusters have been identified. They are located at: 5 Neythal Road, 34 Sungei Kadut Loop, 16 Tuas Avenue 3, 21 Tuas View Square and 2 Tuas South Street 2. In all, 1,347 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities, the ministry added.

Home-based food businesses, selected food retail outlets, and food manufacturing firms will be among those that will be able to resume operations from May 12, National Development Minister Lawrence Wong said at a press conference.
