JUST IN: 8 out of 9 new community COVID19 cases today are unlinked, including 82-year-old woman
SINGAPORE: Singapore reported 185 new COVID-19 infections on Saturday , including nine community cases, of whom eight are unlinked.Four of the nine community cases involve Singaporeans, three are work pass holders, and two are work permit holders.Of the nine community cases, one is linked to a previous case, while eight are currently unlinked.
Another case was detected as part of MOH's "proactive" screening of individuals deployed to frontline COVID-19 operations. The number of unlinked cases in the community has also increased, from an average of three cases per day in the week before, to an average of five per day in the past week. He was taken to an isolation facility to start his 14-day notice. The man is asymptomatic, and was tested while serving his stay-home notice.
There are currently 204 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and two are in a critical condition in the intensive care unit.
