Singapore GE updates, July 11: PAP vote share in GE2020 is 61.24%, down from 69.9% in 2015; WP wins Sengkang GRC

Dear ST reader, The People's Action Party won 13 of 14 SMCs and 15 of 17 GRCs, however its vote share in GE2020 is 61.24%, down from 69.9% in GE2015. The opposition Workers' Party not only strengthened its hold over Aljunied GRC and Hougang SMC, but added another feather to its cap in the form of Sengkang GRC.
