ZujuGP aims to allow fans to watch live games, buy merchandise, engage with players and bet

ZujuGP is an upcoming digital community built around football, helmed by the son of secretive Singaporean investor Peter Lim and fronted by global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Lim, 68, bought Spanish club Valencia in 2014 and is a shareholder of English club Salford City. His son, Kiat, had started working on his own stealth tech start-up, Arc, a new type of a closed social space, and he would often talk to his father about it. The coronavirus pandemic took a heavy toll on the finances of the football industry and the Lims figured it was ripe for change, using technology.

ZujuGP Exchange will offer a hiring platform where talents, professionals and hiring clubs can do business. The company says it will power it with artificial intelligence and secure it with blockchain technology. ZujuGP Rank, finally, will be a digital football academy that offers performance training and specialist drills.
