Sinclair to launch headline news service
Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc.
said Wednesday it will be hiring 25 new positions for its new headline news service, which is scheduled to launch in early 2021. In the first phase of the launch, the news service will air from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on weekdays across the TV station services provider's CW and MY network affiliates and its STIRR streaming platform. The service will have a solo anchor, and will focus on commentary-free content, and will also offer original content produced for the program.
